Re: Sportec RS600

There is no build thread. Just a couple of videos, you can see the intakes in this one. 1M-37ED5oMY I am going to have it pulled apart soon and redesign the air delivery and clean up the front sub-frame. I like the idea of an air ramp against the bonnet and vented only to reduce pressure behind the...

Re: Sportec RS600

I'm very interested in the gearbox, especially: - billet main shaft - my car has been through a lot of input shafts etc. - wavetrac diff, gripper or Quaife - because fucken RACECAR! - 4:1 center diff mod - trying to dial out the under-steer in these cars is the holy-grail innit. Other than that, wh...

Re: Sportec RS600

A lot of the Tial builds on B5s over here just disappeared, pretty rare to find one. I think the TTE prices are inflated but the numbers are mostly sound. I'm sure the Tials will be fine, you 'merican seem to get them working. How about gearbox? What's going on there? Try one of these: https://stor...

Re: Sportec RS600

Sounds good but there's not a lot of good reports on Tial builds. If it implodes get the TTE lads to build you something. What are you going to do about an airbox? That will be a restriction at the power you're after... if the log-type 'zoorst mani isn't. What do you mean about Tial? All the fast b...

Sportec RS600

2yrs... got a lot done? So what are we looking at here? Screamer pipe? That's the intake spec and hybrid spec? Anything else to report? I shipped the car to a shop in Seattle, Washington. The project sat for a long time but it seems to be making progress finally. You are looking at TiAL XR880s with...

Re: S4 WB 1000+HP

I'll tell you how. Experience, near 1100hp , GPS time of 10 sec 1/4 Don't get hung up on a slip of paper. I have GPS data for both cars I've shared and the 1100 car is faster. I don't know how you could think a 1000+ s4 can't do a 10 pass Come on, you said : Low 10's right now. Going to optimise ge...
