i forgot to add VW504 = petrol standard (long life), VW507 = Diesel standard (long life), VW502 = Petrol standard (Fixed interval)

cool - VW502 can be used for fixed interval changes. As this isn't my daily driver and I will change the oil every 12months, I will only do about 8000km max between changes. VW504 is long life oil. Audi Manual confirms this. M1 0w40 is recommended by M1 for fixed intervals. M1 5w30 esp is recommende...

Hi All, What were your experiences with "M1 esp 5w30 VW504/507"? Thus far I am using "M1 0w40 VW502" I find that if I drive the car hard I do burn oil at a rate of 500ml per 1000km, however, if I just drive slowly around town, its not an issue. I am wondering if other oils would reduce the oil burni...
