Re: Goodbye DRC. Bilstein PSS9's ordered
My DRC shocks are past it sadly and the system had lost pressure again. Hence the PSS9's.

Goodbye DRC. Bilstein PSS9's ordered
Decided after a bit of deliberation to ditch the DRC and go for the PSS9. More costly than basic non-adjustable kits but I committed now (and maybe should be). Am I going to enjoy these?? Hopefully cars a keeper after having just shelled out on the major service! :beerchug: Fockers at Barclaycard de...

Re: Newbie from Wishaw (Lanarkshire)
Clunking still. Its probably time to decide. Go with a repair on the DRC or coil overs? The clunking hasn't got any worse over past 1000 miles but.. My cars in getting 75k service at moment and costs mounting daily. Interested in the home made DRC recharger idea... Let me know if you get hold of the...

Re: Insurance!!
Never auto-renew in my experience. Always worth speaking to a human being. You can't bargain with computers...got my RS6 covered for £238 for the year, but that's on multi-car with a diesel Skoda as my 'main drive'. Waiting to see how this all works when its renewal time with 2 months difference bet...

Re: Newbie from Wishaw (Lanarkshire)
Hi, I'm just up the road in Falkirk with a standard 54' Muegello Blue C5 RS6. Mine too is on Audi repaired DRC, got 74k on the clock. Similar 'clunkiness' from potholes. Drove first few months with the radio off and ear to the window. 3000 miles later I think it' all OK! Not sure about the your gear...

Re: Don't get a flat in France!
I have been considering getting spare wheel to carry in the boot for a while now....especially as I travel to remote parts of the Scottish Highlands where mobile reception still doesn't exist!

Re: RS6 owner promised the world by Warranty Direct??
Having read many posts and threads it seems the warranty companies will try and get out of almost all claims. Having read the small print / keyfacts there are glaringly obvious get out clauses for their protection..e.g. defining an item as 'broken'. So if for example the DSG gearbox is slipping a li...

Re: Happy Insurance Renewal!
Got my RS6 and Skoda tdi Scout insured with Direct Line Multicar for £500. A bargain £200 premium for adding the RS6. Most impressed as my girlfriends renewal for her 1l polo was £700 with RAC insurance. Taking the piss!

RS6 owner promised the world by Warranty Direct??
Hi, Anyone had experience of claims payouts from Warrany Direct and the like? My 2004 RS6 is totally original with 71k on the clock and paperwork..but still has the DRC (even though it was repaired under warranty in 2009). Reckon there's a good chance this may go as planning on keeping car for a yea...
