Has anyone just had the precat and centre silencer removed from the standard exhaust? I'm considering this option along with the exhaust flaps fixed open in order to liberate some more noise, hopefully without the drone!

Mikefish, I agree, you don't have to heal and toe to enjoy the car but having learned the art I do find it enhaces the experience. I reckon going 2.75" for performance reasons makes sense, just depends on whether I can stretch to £3000 for an MTM or go valveless with another manufacture for under £2k....
