Re: Another one gone? Stay safe guys.

Honestly i'd let them have it.. its covered with insurance/gap etc no point risking your+- family life for a material thing No way, then you're feeling the supply. Get the car back then flog it. But don't let them have it. But if you get it back, it'll always be 'stolen/recovered' I wouldn't want m...

Re: Remap

Just to pickup on a couple of points in this never ending thread, Speaking from experience, remaps are detectable even if the ECU is put back to standard. Dealers are able to download ECU data from the car and send it directly to the factory for it to be analysed, they are able to determine at what ...

Indeed, twas removed.
Do we know why ? I understand the issue with the ceramic brakes, but to physically remove the car from the configurator is pretty serious, no ?

European R8 weekend meet in Sundern, Germany

I had the pleasure of joining a good friend of mine at this meet that took place last weekend and I thought I would share a selection of pictures with everyone. A very good turnout with a great selection of V8/V10/GT/Coupe & Spyder all in attendance. This is an annual event and we will be looking to...

Re: Directional brake disc

Pretty much the norm across the Audi range now, brake discs are not directional, presumably to save costs. It means one side will get hotter than the other if you're really going for it and are braking hard. C5 RS6 is the last Audi model to have directional discs I believe.

Cash on collection only too? The whole listing just gives the impression it's to be steered clear of, some poor soul with missing seats somewhere.

Re: New Gearbox

Hi Nicky, would you be able to describe the process your dealer went through in order to diagnose and then authorise replacement? Technician test drive? Data logging and sending to factory? Many thanks I'm unsure exactly but it has been in for four days in total. I reckon they've done all of the ab...

Re: Calling all you remap runners

I have a MRC mapped TT RS+ S Tronic, dyno'ed at 425PS/650Nm with all stock hardware, exhaust decatted. Car is transformed, power and torque increase are epic. The only issue im having relates to the gearbox, low speed changes have become intermittently jerky, but the guys at MRC are working on solvi...
