Re: Daytona RS4 B7 Avant - Update

I can’t find anyone nearby me to repair the exhaust flexis, and I’m not spending circa 5k on a Milltek full system and stage 2 remap, just to then sell. Carwow have offered £13499. If anyone can better that, please let me know. Car is still in A for Audi Clydebank, service done, headlight levelling ...

Re: Fastener Part Numbers Needed - Please!

Sorry, poor explanation!
I’m looking for the nut part that the screw N90683302 screws into as there is nothing in the hole to secure this screw!

Re: Fastener Part Numbers Needed - Please!

Thank you kindly!
I think the plastic captive expansion part of the grille securing is missing also, any idea what the part number is for those?

Fastener Part Numbers Needed - Please!

Hi all, had some work done recently which required the front end off a couple of times and the inlet manifold off. In the melee some fasteners have been lost, I’m hoping someone can help me find the part numbers for the fasteners below. First 3 pics are of the two clips/ bolts holding the grille on ...

Intermittent Starting Not the Same as Any Previous Posts!

Ran a couple of scans which brought up intermittent faults on starter relay and an earth, which I expect to be the starter motor earth. The EPC light came in and stayed on when out to get a PCR test for travelling back to work, a 4 hour round trip. The scan showed issues with a manifold flap sensor ...

Intermittent Starting Not the Same as Any Previous Posts!

Hi all, I know the intermittent starting issues have been done to death seemingly but I’ve got an issue that doesn’t seem to have been covered yet. Usual start process, dip clutch, press start button, no crank, only a loud clicking noise from under the drivers seat area (outside the car, not inside!...

Rear Callipers

Hi all, got a lazy rear near side calliper. Does anyone know of a the part number and a decent place to purchase refurb kits including pistons and seals? I’d prefer to go down this road before changing the callipers outright. Seen a few kits on line but it’s difficult to know if they are correct Che...

Re: Exhaust Issue

Same thing happened to me when trying to free up seized actuators. Forced me into the decision to blank the lines off and have the flaps open constantly. The exhaust note is changed a little, it’s slightly more noticeable but that’s about all the difference. I’ll put it back to standard when I need ...

Re: CTEK Battery Charger

I have a Ctek MXS 5.0 almost permanently attached to my B7 RS4. I got the m10 eyelet connections hooked up to the jump lead points under the bonnet. I removed the negative ‘bolt’ and put the eye connector between the body and big bolt and for the positive I removed a bolt to slip the eye connector o...

Re: Air box flap......

Sorted, thanks for your help! The torx bolt wasn’t as bad as it could be, my long torx key reached, just. Shifted the headlight about 20mm forward and gave enough space to shimmy the air box in built up with the flap in place. Then it was just a case of nipping up the torx bolts, doing the one in th...
