Re: Well the c7 rs6 is out
The car is just dripping with want. Exhaust sound on the vid isn't great though nothing a milly couldn't sort out.

Re: How long should brake disks last?
Even ignoring the ferry/fuel cost its cheaper in Dublin. Turning on man maths mode, a trip to MRC is always worth it esp if getting other stuff done

Re: How long should brake disks last?
Hi Mate - get a quote from Audi Belfast and use that to haggle with the Dublin guys on price, you will still cry though. I have found its better to get a few things done with them at the same time. I had the inlet valves cleaned by the guys a month ago - fooking flying since. Not a bad price at all ...

Re: How long should brake disks last?
Discs where 2.5 years at the last change, to be fair they looked fooked.

Re: How long should brake disks last?
Discs/pads all OE no warping. Audi advised change required due to wear which I usually ignore for 6/9 months by which time there is a huge lip on the outside of the discs and they look like the have been monstered on trackdays even though I don't track the car. Last worn set had visible dash-lined '...

Re: How long should brake disks last?
It is and I changed the front pads each time the dics where changed. FWIW, the pads generally had a third left in them when the discs where changed.

Re: How long should brake disks last?
My experience is slightly different, I have averaged about 20k per set of discs and am on my third set of fronts at 53k. The discs have always gone long before the pads have though I am still on my original discs and pads on the rear. I do quite a bit of urban drving which is all I can put the short...

That sounds absolutely awesome - much more V8 NASCAR than Milltek which is raspy. Don't worry, the novelty of the noise NEVER losses its appeal

Re: Another stake in the heart carbon naysayers
I hadn't updated because I haven't had time but I had my valves cleaned by Audi Dublin the Friday before last having previously had them cleaned by MRC a few years ago. I was on a pretty hard road trip to Wales the weekend before the clean and did not feel the car was really wanting much in the powe...

What a sickener mate. Take it from me, at least you didn't come face to face with them which is a bit of a blessing.
