Wireless Carplay
Does anyone know if the 2019 model will have wireless Apple Carplay?

Re: Factory Orders on Hold??
I placed an order in June, and was told due to WLTP no cars being imported, but the expectation was for a delivery in October.

Re: Swap/Add/Ditch - what would you do differently?
LKA sounds pointless - would be useful if all HGV's used it tho. For me SWAP - My Daytona Grey paint for Riviera Blue. ADD - Memory seats - when I saw it it the pricelist I assumed it was the whole electric seat kit and therefore I would get manual seats as standard (my preference). Drives me nuts w...

Re: Heads Up - Tyres
My RS4 is running on Toyo Proxes T1, 20".
Found them an improvement on the Pirellis (which were standard on my 2012 car) both in grip, wet weather confidence and ride.

Re: DRC Suspension Issue
Interesting thread. For the record my early (2012) model has no knocking. But it is at the time of writing in the main dealer to repair a fault they found at the 34,000 mile service. They found a fault in the passenger side front damper unit in that it is leaking hydraulic fluid. The part has been c...

Re: New RS4 - 6 Months In
Thats normal for the V8 though, You had to rev the nuts of the B7 to get it going. Interesting, I have never driven the B7 and assumed with it being lighter and stick shift it wouldn't be so flat... My RS replaced a 2009 Merc C63 AMG - be assured that car never felt flat! it liked its drink, and ty...

Re: New RS4 - 6 Months In
Totally agree that this post hits the nail on the head in relation to drive select. I've had mine from since new in December 2012 and have been love/hate all the way through for this very reason - ie it never feels quite right. My least worst solution is to leave it in DYNAMIC, knock the gearbox int...

Re: first impressions after test drive
I would go for the convenience pack too - unless you are having buckets... The standard seats are electric and if you ever have anyone else using the car who is a different height the convenience pack will make life a bit easier as it memorises by the key. I got my new RS4 last week and I am already...

Re: Drive Select Settings
Thanks for the comments. The sound of drybeers set up/535d's proposed sounds aggressive with the engine/gearbox on dynamic - I find its always hunting for a lower gear (although I've only done 500 miles so far). I will give it a try as you have as the comfort suspension may may the setup less 'maxim...

Re: first impressions after test drive
Sports exhaust is fairly muted, a great sound but not anti-social - as opposed to a PP C63 I used to have which was very unneighbourly at 5:30am...

Re: Running In
I've had the same concern with a 3 day old RS4. Dealer tells me to not drive it like I stole it for the first 500 miles - a flick through the handboook and you find (in the middle) that you should avoid full throttle for 2500KM... I'm just going to drive it a bit more gently than 'normal' for a few ...

Re: Drive Select Settings
Just set it to steering & diff = dynamic with engine/gearbox and suspension to comfort. Suits me fine for running around town and commuting - which tbh is most of the time. Will reserve the dynamic mode for back roads blasts... Thanks for comment adsgreen - I hadn't though of it that way - but I do ...

Re: Drive Select Settings
This is the car - just been to Heathrow and back on Auto which seems more intuitive on a longer drive. The ride still seems a bit harsh for the motorway - although great on the few twistys enroute from the house to the M3.

Drive Select Settings
Just picked up my new RS4, its my first quick Audi. Totally baffled by the Drive Select - none of the inbuilt settings seem to suit me for 'normal' road use. The cars got Dynamic Ride Control, but not the steering. Its rolling on 20" V spokes. The ride is nowhere near as plush as the 997 C2S I chopp...
