Re: Steering rack suitability
Hi Steve, How did you get on in the end, is yours all fixed now? Only I've been trying to source a steering rack for mine for weeks now, and had the same problem.. 4B8422052CX is no longer available. (The X at the end of the part number by the way just means its an 'exchange' item - So basically a r...

Re: Can’t source a radiator!
Any chance your guy could do something for the double oil cooler ( https://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=113332&hilit=Save+oil+cooler&start=60 )? I have a second hand spare one that could be refurbished or serve as model for a new build. Give Darren at Serck a call buddy, I put all his detail...

Re: Can’t source a radiator!
That looked really nice. As mentioned on the other thread mine is ok at the moment. But at that price might give them a call to get one and keep it for the future. Seeing as it’s 6 to 7 weeks lead time. Ah glad yours is alright at the mo :-) If you do need to order one and it’s the same as mine wit...

Re: New radiator
Thank you Puggie. I See what you mean. Just checked doofus’s picture on other thread. I was Close but no cigar. Thought it was too good to be true. Hi Steve, I got mine last weekend from Serck. Took about 7 weeks or so but they did a great job. They have kept the CAD designs from mine, as I mention...

Doofuss. Any news from serck. Mine stopped leaking at the moment. But I just know that if I leave it, it’s going to bite me in the arse. Sorry late reply ! Yes, I got it last weekend! Here’s a pic of it, they did a fantastic job! It’s getting fitted this coming weekend. Darren at Serck was brillian...

Re: Can’t source a radiator!
Thanks so much guys :-) So, I emailed Serck, and they are going to look at the photos I’ve got to see if they can build a custom one! If they can, as it’s out at the mo anyway I can then just send them this one down for them to work off. I will also mention that it’s looking like I’m not the only on...

Re: Can’t source a radiator!
Is changing the plumbing difficult to do do you know? I’ve not heard of Serck Motorsport before, take it this is them..... https://www.serckmotorsport.co.uk/faq I might drop them a email, see what they can do. I know some parts are becoming harder to find, but this is the first time I’ve not been ab...

Can’t source a radiator!
Hi guys, My radiator has gone on my 04 RS6 saloon, and I’m struggling so much to find one! I’ve got the old one off and taken some photos. The part number I need is 4B3121251F which is on b/o at Audi and also, over a grand! Tried to get mine refurbished but no joy there either. It’s got the extra pi...

It’s got the auxiliary cooling, the part number off it is 4B3121251P which superseeds over to 4B3121251F which is on b/o at the factor and over a grand and I just can’t ...

Re: Coilovers
If it helps, I've recently fitted the B14's to mine (Avant) to replace H&R's and originally found them to be perfect for my driving. That was mainly because the H&R's that I'd been riding on for a few years were silly hard, the difference between the two is quite marked. After a couple of months of...

Re: Coilovers
Thanks Daveperc. Appreciate your reply 😊 One of the hydraulic pipes has split, and I can replace it, but the system also needs to be re-charged, which only Audi can do. My garage I took it too suggested looking at alternative options. Also, the long metal hydraulic pipes that run along the bottom of...

Coilovers
Hi guys, I’m thinking of putting coilovers on my 04 RS6 saloon. I’m thinking of a set of Bilstein’s: Either the Bilstein B14 - PSS 47-086937 or the Bilstein B16 - PSS9 48-088688. The B16’s are pretty much twice the price of the B14’s though. Are they twice as good, or will the B14’s suffice? If anyo...

Re: Suspension Options
Hokey-Cokey then, I’ve decided to go for the B14 Bilstein because of the huge price difference between them and fully adjustable, which (for me) would probably be over-kill. I’m running KW coilvers at the moment and shall update this thread later with feedback. Thanks all. How are you getting on wi...
