Re: Removal of phone cradle
When I bought my car from the dealer I made it a condition of sale that they get the cradle removed. I believe they had one of these mobile guys who fix trims to attend to the job. It was very well done and left no visible marks.

Re: Possible dead engine :(
Hi,
Sorry to hear of your troubles. I bought mine from 5 oaks in July and they were pretty decent when a few items were picked up so hopefully you will be fine.
How many miles did the engine have on it though? I thought the v8 lumps were supposed to be pretty bullet proof?

Re: RS4 Front Brake Disc Wear Limits
Thanks all. Indeed the measurements given to me by the supplying dealer do indicate that there is life in the discs yet. But in my view the discs are badly lipped and I will invest in a digital calliper just to reassure myself.

Re: Sticking clutch peddle
Hi,
Know exactly what you mean as my car is in the garage having this attended to; 33k miles on the clock. Seems they are replacing a clutch return pipe and master cylinder to rectify the situation?

RS4 Front Brake Disc Wear Limits
Hi, Am hoping that someone can help with details of the front disc wear limits on an RS4 B7. When I bought the car under the Audi approved scheme from a dealer some distance away from home I specifically pointed out that the front discs looked a tad shabby and could they be checked out. Later I was ...
