Gearbox (synchro?) problems

Hi guys Wanted to get your thoughts and advice on a gearbox issue I'm having. My car has done just over 30k miles. 2nd gear has started to occasionally pop out of gear and back into neutral. Sometimes this happens when I depress the clutch but it can also happen under load / just cruising in 2nd gea...

Wing mirrors

Hi My brother in law thought that my RS4 wing mirrors could be folded in, he pulled the mirror inwards, and my wing mirror has now popped out of the bracket / clips. The wiring is all still in place. Is there a trick to get it back on? I've tried just pushing the mirror back on where the bolts are s...

Front grill badge install

I know this is going to be a super gumby question but I can't work this out.... I bought an OEM front grill RS4 badge off the internet. I thought it should just click in straight to the grill, and that's what it seems it has been designed to do, but on the back of the badge in the middle there is a ...

So in case any else is looking into this, I got it done by Polimax in bethnal green. Front + the window trims for £120 which I thought was a pretty good deal.

I think people on these boards have tried every product under the sun without much success. Something to do with how the trim was manufactured, I don't think it is just pure Aluminum.

Black optics wrap - looking for recommendations

Like many people I suffer from the milky splotches on the Alu trim on the doors. The rest of the car is mint so its always really annoyed me.I was thinking therefore I would try wrapping the window trim in Matt black and the front grill surround in satin / gloss to give a black optics look to the ca...

Thanks, will give it a go. Fingers crossed. Having to spend £400+ on tire pressure sensors seems pretty punchy.....

Hi, I'm not sure if I can because the red light seems to block out the functionality on the DIS.

Tyre Pressure warning errors

Hi guys. I've tried researching this question on here but still a bit confused.... I have a permanent Tyre Pressure red light warning come up on the DIS. I've checked the tyre pressures a couple of times now and the tyre pressures are fine. Does this mean that the batteries in the tyre sensors are p...
