Ok thanks. Definitely seems to be a tricky one with a lot riding on what the mechanic thinks of the condition of the flywheel. Would be gutting not to do it only to be hit a couple of months down the line with another big labour bill to do the job!

What determines if the flywheel needs done and what's the possible impact if you don't do it when replacing the clutch?

Saw the B8 in the flesh today and was a little underwhelmed to be honest. Not the same "woah I NEED one of those" moments as when I first saw a B7.
