Re: Trading sideways > RS4 to S8
My friend ran one out here in Dubai for a couple of years and while not in the same league as the RS4 for driving experience it is still one heck of a piece of kit! Super comfortable, sooo much space (he like you had kids to consider) and the V10 is magnificant!! Just a shame he never changed the st...

Re: Greetings from Dubai!

Always good to know of decent garages so I would be keen to know the name of the place in Al Quoz as well? Cheers.

Re: B7 RS4 Picture Thread
I absolutely LOVE this! :kissmyrings: WANT!!!! Really? That one does nothing for me. I don't like the wheels. Other than being lowered and maybe redder than normal lights it looks pretty standard. And it has those awful American red lights / reflectors in the rear bumper. I know they have...

Re: Greetings from Dubai!
Would also be up for a meet at some point. Although spending half my time travelling just now which doesn't help.
Sean, did I see you near the airport today just after 1pm-ish? Tried to clock the plate on the grey RS4 I saw but as usual my taxi was being driven by a looney tune!

Re: Greetings from Dubai!
Sean I'm based in Dubai and running a silver RS4 with gunmetal wheels. It wasn't you I waved at in the filter lane to turn into Emaar Boulevard a few weeks ago was it?

Re: Clutch renewal
Ok thanks. Definitely seems to be a tricky one with a lot riding on what the mechanic thinks of the condition of the flywheel. Would be gutting not to do it only to be hit a couple of months down the line with another big labour bill to do the job!

Re: Clutch renewal
What determines if the flywheel needs done and what's the possible impact if you don't do it when replacing the clutch?

Re: Comparison
Saw the B8 in the flesh today and was a little underwhelmed to be honest. Not the same "woah I NEED one of those" moments as when I first saw a B7. The interior was (as you would expect) a decent jump forward and after thinking there was nothing wrong with the plastic bottom of the B7 steering wheel...

Re: Just bought one, in love.
Cracking looking motor - looks like you've got a good one.
I'm from Aberdeen but living in Dubai just now otherwise would have been well up for a north east meet (it's just too long a drive lol!)

Re: Aircon pipes/coolant freezing completely??
Thanks Grizz. Been googling to try and get some more info on the inline filter but can't really find anything. Is it a DIY job or am I going to need a stealer or an indie to look at it?

Aircon pipes/coolant freezing completely??
Having some aircon troubles on journeys longer than ~30 mins at a steady motorway speed whereby the level of cooling slowly gets less to the point there is no cooling at all. This is a major problem when even though it's nearly winter I still drove home tonight at 10pm and it was 29degrees. Once bac...

Just watched the video on the fb page. Sounds quality!!
This may be a stupid question but why the random revving after it hit's the limiter?

Re: Does anyone else follow this?
Oh well I guess it's another good excuse for tearing around in the car for a while! Although I as mentioned I'm not sure where you find a quiet bit of road to do the continued runs like that!
