2015 B8 RS4 - Daytona Grey
Hi All, So after 16 months trouble free ownership of my 2015 (15 plate – first registered 7/3/2015) Daytona Grey, pearl effect B8 RS4, the time has come to part ways – the primary reason being that I simply don’t use it enough. I’ve done about 3500 miles since May 2018 and if I’m honest, I don’t lik...

Re: Extended warranty quotes year 5
Would the premium have come down if you’d made a claim, or is it only lowered after a claim less year?

Re: Extended warranty quotes year 5
Just had my Audi approved warranty renewal email through this morning. My first year was £1292 all component. My renewal for the same cover is now £680.
Assume it’s lower due to no claims?

B8 RS4 to C63 (4.0) Estate?
Morning all, I do love my RS4 even though I’ve only done 2000 miles in it since May 2018, but can’t seem to stop eyeing up the C63 estate. Has anyone gone from one to the other, and if so could you give a good comparison in terms of living with, interior, and how it makes you feel to drive....when u...

DRC and Audi Warranty
Quick query - thought I heard some knocking from offside front corner today....lasted about 1-2 minutes then subsided. Done about 100 miles since on some quite rough roads but all seemed quiet. But this obviously got me thinking about a possible issue and so I looked at the Audi extended warranty bo...

Hoping these photos have attached.....4 months into ownership and only 800 miles covered. Need to stretch its legs a bit before the wet weather kicks in.

Re: Should i buy a B8?
I've owned 50+ cars, till recently I had a A6 diesel estate for work and a 997 911 for fun. I chose to combine both into one and got my RS4, from the first drive I was smitten and no car has ever put as big a smile on my face. And that smile grew even more when I discovered launch control. So if yo...

Re: Should i buy a B8?
Just do it...I moved from a B7 and haven’t looked back, I would echo the comments about depreciation, it’s the last of the V8’s a well specced one should not lose a pile of money. As for reliability get a warranty and drive on. They are a great car, bar moving to a B9 there is nothing else I could ...

Long time lurker...new owner.
Evening All, quick photo of the new toy. Had it nearly a week and it feels like a special place to be even pottering about. Just over 30k miles and almost every option. So far, it's all I hoped it would be.

I'll keep the old school terminology to myself! Thanks again, looks like I'll be getting the wallet out shortly! Is this a slippery slope to a cleaning obsession?

Was always known as one by my dad - and to me, a leather item used for drying a car will always be known by that name. Chamois. Breathe it in....

Re: Detailing Products for Beginners
Thanks all for the suggestions - do people now favour microfibre cloths rather than the traditional chamois? This thought process has come about because I've not had a car that I've felt deserved to be kept clean before. But this thing is such a beast, I just don't feel I can ignore it!

Detailing Products for Beginners
Hi All, So my new toy (B8 RS4) is in need of some TLC and having only used a standard car shampoo, sponge, rinse and then leather to dry off, I thought i'd see what people would recommend in terms of products for a novice that won't mean i'm spending hours on the drive cleaning. So, thoughts on dece...
