Re: Wheel Bearing Question... (Now With A Video)
It's the ball joint on either the upper or lower arm. It's beginning to seize and the clicking is as it's binding in the cup. Had exactly this on mine and replaced the lower arm, not the lower rear in my case and it was sorted. Best way to identify which ball joint it is, is to get it up on a ramp t...

Re: Intercoolers- how much ? Plus gearbox service intervals
@pete62, I refurbed the intercoolers about 8 months ago, if you look through the grills next to the fog lights you will be able to see the epoxy repairs on the corner of the intercoolers. They should be good for sometime yet. MRC recommend the box is serviced every 20k so it was done at 73k after be...

Re: Cracked Bumper Help
I had a mate who used these guys www.revive-uk.com who did a pretty good job on painting his bumper but not sure if they operate in your area. Alternative to MRC and Unit20 and a bit closer to you would be www.amdtuning.com and www.qstuning.com if you wanted to give them a bell or try ap_auto-tech (...

Re: Bubbling roof channels
I've just checked the invoice and I paid 156 ex vat which was 30% so total ex vat was about 520. Sorry I think the 1000 was what Audi said it could cost depending on what was involved but that was the figure that stuch in my head :O

Re: Bubbling roof channels
No I don't have a sunroof and mine's a loon but they didn't do the whole roof, they just did the corroded bits and blended with the rest of the roof so I imagine they won't need to take the sunroof out unless you ask them to

Re: Bubbling roof channels
Had mine done last Xmas - had the same conversation with the dealership and went to Audi customer care who agreed to make a good will gesture - whole job was about £1000 through a VAG approved shop (run by Mercedes) and Audi paid about £700 towards it.

I only ask as reluctantly I'm going to put my Mugello blue saloon up for sale next month . It's just done 80,000, had the gearbox replaced at 53 and serviced by MRC at 73, drc been replaced with billies, H&R rollbars, Miltek cat back, intercoolers refurbed, stage 1 MRC map etc.

I think that error - P1900 - 004 - Open or Short to Ground - Intermittent - is to do with the g65 sensor, easy diy fix.
