Re: Engine cutout won't restart
Snap! Mine was a replacement for my RS2000 (Mk2) also in red. It took a little while to get used to reverting to the handling of an overgrown Mini after the tail happy life in an Escort, but as you say, it was amazingly quick, especially once you mastered the turbo lag - Ah those were the days! Dav...

Re: Engine cutout won't restart
Saab fan here too.
I had a 1980 99T with WI as well then a C900T 16S, 9000CSE 2.3T AND 3 9-5'S SO FAR.
I fancy an old 99T or C900T at some point again.

Wing mirror
Hi forum, I was bidding on a set of RS6 wing mirrors but only won the N/S as we had people round and I forgot about it. Are standard A6 mirrors the same shape? I am only asking as it might be easier to buy an O/S mirror and fit a aluminum housing to it rather than hold out for a genuine one. Other t...

What is a standard RS6 exhaust made from.
Ho forum, I bought an RS6 exhaust from a forum member on here to have fitted to my allroad. The garage who are doing the repainting on the plastic parts of my allroad are going to fit the exhaust as the guy who owns it can turn his hand to most things after having to rebuild his racing cars. He phon...

Re: Rocker cover gasket & temp display
Use the climate control panel to change the temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius, and vise versa. If you first press and hold the recirculation button (circular arrow), then press the temperature + button, it will toggle between the two on the climate control as well as the instrument display.

Re: Pluvial Incontinence
The battery is in the boot in the RS6. Could be a poor seal on one of the rear lights. Pull the trim out of the boot and crawl into the boot while someone hoses the car down. The water makes it way down into the foot well, especially when you brake. Open the battery compartment to see if any water ...

Re: Pluvial Incontinence
Have you taken the battery out and cleaned out the rubber drain bung?
I had a wet carpet on the passenger side and cleaned out dead leaves and all sorts of other stuff and since then it has been dry.
HTH,

Re: Parking sensors
I know on the allroad it is a bumper off job.
If you listen to the sensors you will here them clicking when they work.

Re: WANTED C5 RS6 exhaust
Cheers for the advice mate. I'll stop looking and get a custom one made instead.
I didn't realise they were that different underneath.
