Re: I think I missed something- Rich@viper
Mate. If your going to map the car go to mrc. Speaking from experiance. They took my old b5 rs4 with a viper map on it and tweaked it from 416 bhp to 460. That was stock bar a cat back exhaust. I recently got a C5 RS6 and took it there. Stock car mapped to 527 bhp and 797 nm of torque. Make the tri...

Re: I think I missed something- Rich@viper
Thanks for the replies. I have no problem having mrc do my tune, however I live in the US and for obvious reasons, can't do their dyno tuning they are so known for.
Do you know if they do remote tuning?

I think I missed something- Rich@viper
Hi all. I don't check in here very often. A couple years ago, I had Rich at viper tune my 03 rs6. Everything is fine, but I was going to check with him to see if he can add a bit more oomph as I've made some additional modifications since the tune. He hasn't responded to emails, or calls. I feel lik...

Re: C5 headlight adjusters (nylon gears)
Thanks 4everRS, That's more or less what I did, although without pulling on the shaft. I might have to try again with your method. It's a pretty stupid design! Yeah, it's really important to be able to pull that pin outward while sliding the gear on. Mine's been holding great for several months now.

Re: C5 headlight adjusters (nylon gears)
I don't check the site that often, but saw this and thought I'd share what I did. The nylon gears are prone to failure. http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab210/crocodile64/IMG_20141006_205345221_HDR.jpg Remove the gear http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab210/crocodile64/IMG_20141006_203057282_HDR....

I'll send an email to a dealer there to see what they can do. Dealers here are pricks.

Re: Looking for Blue weave Carbon Trim
After re-reading my OP, it is a bit short. I apologize. Yes Chunky, I'm fairly regular on the rs6.com boards. And as swanny said, the blue weave came with the +'s. Turns out I had to buy another RS6 to get the trim! :) (long story) Any help sourcing these 3 pieces would be greatly appreciated. Meanw...

Looking for Blue weave Carbon Trim
I need 3 peices of the carbon fiber trim that has the blue weave in it. I'm from the states and am having a tough time sourcing it here. The peices I need are the shifter surround, hazard surround, and ashtray front. I have the rest of the trim set. http://i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab210/crocodile...

Re: Yank looking for Euro headlights
Thanks for the discussion all. That's the kind of info I needed.
I may just go with the US version and take the ambers out as I've done before.

Our lights don't swing.
They do move up and down based in suspension movement.

Re: Yank looking for Euro headlights
Thanks Amar. I can and have modified US spec headlamps in my RS6. I hit a deer a week ago and busted up the front end pretty good, requiring new lights. I figured if I'm getting them, I would go with the Euro version. I prefer them anyway. I would like them brand new if possible. Here's a pic of the...

Yank looking for Euro headlights
Hi guys and gals. I am looking for a set of Euro headlight for my C5 RS6. I live in the us and they are no where to be found over here. The only ones here have that ugly amber reflector. I would appreciate any info on where I can purchase these to have shipped over the pond.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: What an awesome blast
Shop - These are the ECP Pagid pads, I've done a lot of reading and please, anyone, who wants a very good value for money pad get Ferodo Premier pads from Opie Oils for about £80. I've only heard great things about them from road and track users and a lot of people have switched from the OE Pagids ...
