Re: Not sure what I've got!

Right! Had a good look and it seems I was completely wrong. Definitely valved; definitely resonated (thanks Pie!). The valves are stuck open, which is why I am getting no sound difference. Not sure if they have been put that way deliberately or whether they are seized. I don't really mind either way...

Re: Not sure what I've got!

Thanks, Pie. I definitely have the first ones. The buckets look pretty impressive - are they very comfortable? (I have had similar seats before and they were great - despite being rock hard.)

Noggy S4 B5 with RS246 stickers

Wished I had blanked out the plates when I was selling my Jensen a few years ago. Someone at the Jensen owners club started posting that the car was a wreck, even though it had been fully restored since they had last seen it a few years before. When I complained, they asked me to prove it. Then a co...

Re: Not sure what I've got!

Thanks everyone: this is fantastic stuff. Can't believe how helpful people are over here!

Judging by Pie's pictures, I don't have bucket seats and therefore the bolsters are presumably static.

I'll get underneath tomorrow, have a fumble around and report back on the exhaust.

Not sure what I've got!

Hi all, Picked up my 06 RS4 Cab last week and I am totally blown away by it. Best thing I have done in a long time :D Thing is, I am a bit puzzled by the sport mode - or lack of it! It has the sport button and pressing it causes the light in the dash to come on - but not a great deal else. The throt...

Re: Newbie with RS4 (B7) Cab

Thanks. The cobras were unfortunately kit cars, but still pretty wild. The P5 was a nice one, but I sold it when I hit 40, as I started feeling self-conscious about my age!

Re: Newbie with RS4 (B7) Cab

Thanks. Photobucket not working for me at the moment (possibly our firewall). Can you see them in my album in the gallery?

Like the colour of your car btw.

Re: Newbie with RS4 (B7) Cab

Think I have done it. Sort of. I managed to upload some pics to the gallery, where there is now an album in my username (I hope). Pictures are a bit random - just what I have here at work. The only ones I still own are the 550 and the 997 - and the 997 is to be sold. Will post some pictures of the R...

Newbie with RS4 (B7) Cab

Hi all, Just checking in as a new owner and member. I picked up the car last week and I have been having a whale of a time. In fact, the driving experience blows all of my previous cars out of the water (not bad, as they include a Dino, various E-Types and Cobras, a Ferrari 360, a Ferrari 550, a Box...
