Sorted! The paint was just thick enough to drag on it when tightened up. Cleaned it up and all good now.

Was your interior damp under the carpet / soundproofing? I would think the CCM has been drowned if the water in the scuttle got high enough to corroded the maxi fuses. Cheers Shop! Level sensors are giving 2.2f and 1.6 rear I think, my drive is on a slope. I'm wondering if the wee control box is fubar? The fact I can only do the output settings once then it fails to communicate is fishy?

I had the bumper on the RS6 C5 Avant off to get painted, so had headlights removed etc. It's all back together now, but I'm getting the headlight adjustment warning light. Tried to do the adjustment with the VAG cable and VCDS but can't seem to get it ...

Yep - I panicked and faffed about a bit, but it was easy enough in the end. Much worse awaited me haha!

Yep - if I remember right, you just put a 1/2 inch drive bar into a hole on the tensioner and you can lever it round. It's quite hard, so I used a big bar. You can't really see much but it's easy enough once you work it out.
