Re: Lower door blade
Just in case anyone else need in future (being old Elsawin links don't work no more), lower moulding on driver's door is Part No: 8E0-853-960-7DL . My original was coming apart and Audi dealer charged £220 to supply a painted replacement. In this case replacing it genuinely was a 5 min job (well add...

Headlight Hell
There's a lengthy back story of terrible Audi customer service to where I am now, but rather then bore eveyone with the details I'll cut to the chase. I find myself in postion of having a broken O/S/F headlight (see picture below), with the main beam light sitting phytsically low it's housing. The f...

Re: NEW FROM FORGE - B7 OIL COOLER KITS
Got some photos from the dealer of the connectors.
Not a pretty sight. Still not sure on best option out of various permuations of OEM, JHM and Forge bits.

Re: NEW FROM FORGE - B7 OIL COOLER KITS
So car in with dealer having both Aux Rads replaced following a coolant leak. Inevitably have been advised of corrosion on oil cooler couplings and quoted about £1400 to do it all (cooler & hoses with labour). So am considering my options. The forge kit is of interest but have a couple of questions:...

Re: Carbon clean, Before and after power output?
Picked mine up today after MRC Carbon Clean (cost £900) and now measured at 413PS and 450Nm. Previously had it dynoed by MRC back in July when it came in at 370PS & 427Nm. See plots below. Therefore uplifts of approx 10% power (43PS), and 5% (23Nm) torque, giving a cost per horse of £21. No other en...

Re: Which dealer lets you supply own oil
Amersham Audi did put up the argument of protecting themselves from "parts" from an unknown source. I don't find it convincing considering I was providing sealed bottles of Edge. Both "normal" Edge and Professional Edge meet the specs for an RS4 set by Audi. My understanding is the biggest differenc...

Just adding link http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 7&start=15 to my post in other forum, regarding poor experience from Amersham Audi.

Re: Which dealer lets you supply own oil
There seems to be much fun and games with customer supplied oil. Had mine serviced (longlife at 53k miles) this week having rung both Watford and Amersham Audi. Watford said from outset they wouldn't allow me to supply own oil, whereas Amersham said yes. So booked in with Amersham ( double checking ...

Re: Stolen from Aberdeen 07-01-13 - Sprint Blue B7 RS4 "T99
Don't fully understand the plastic/spare key quote in that piece. Whereas newer model audis come with a two piece spare/plastic key, I thought the rs4 came with a single piece spare key. The newer two part keys have a generic holder/adapter piece that is stored in the glovebox and a bespoke blade th...

Re: RS4 B7 Interior Light Pack
I bought an array of LED bulbs for the interior lights. The festoon type all work fine, but the bayonets (BA9S) used in the switchable map reading lights don't. They work when all interiors lights are on, but if you use them independently (i.e. just switch on map lights) they don't light. I'm guessi...

Yep, you need to buy a complete arm rest lid if the clip is gone.
I paid around £80 though these guys have it cheaper.

Re: Snowdonia VCDS?
So have nursed it back home, keeping below 4k revs all way, proabably got the best fuel economy I've ever had. The EPC light obviously felt lonely, as at it is now joined by the ESP (skidding car icon) warning light being permanently on. Not looking forward to the sucking through teeth noises from t...

Re: Snowdonia VCDS?
Cheers Respect4. It's gone out of limp mode this morning (though the EPC light is still glaring at me indigently), so think I'm going to risk driving back to London (if a little more restrained than normal) and getting things sorted out there. Does anyone know if there is some kind of pattern or ind...
