Re: Engine management light
Ah hm, i'll have to measure my air flow values - my throttle body has been reset one time. Will be interesting if your error disappeared.

Re: Engine management light
Which ECU software are you on? 0080 or 0090?
As i replaced the valve for the airbox flap today i have to test a few more days but i think the error still exists as the last logs showed.

Re: told these fault codes are due to using RON 95 sometimes
@Doug_S2
I still have the above error code - vacuum system should really be ok now. Maybe it is the manifold gasket on bank 1? I heard somewhere that this can produce a similar error?
Or maybe it's the either the intake manifold runner control valve or the secondary air injection valve?

Re: DRC AGAIN sorry, warranty advice needed.
Seems strange that both, Audi UK and US have such nice replacement programs. In Austria they "don't know" the problem and there is no replacement if you are beyond the 2 years Audi warranty.

You can start with http://www.jlosee.com/images/RS4/PDF/TS ... fold-1.pdf - i checked my system with this guide.
I used a pump like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hand-Held-Vac ... 45ffe50b71

Re: Freeing up exhaust valves
@quattrosteph
hm, will try that - mine are completely stuck. Tried one can of wd40 - no result.
I also checked but there is no vaccum leak because of the disconnected hoses - i plugged it up and there is no leak.

Re: told these fault codes are due to using RON 95 sometimes
Thx Doug, checked with a vacuum pump this weekend and found the leak - it is the line to the airbox. Replaced the 4-T with a 3-T and deactivated this line. After a few hundred km we will see
thx!

Re: Freeing up exhaust valves
Sounds familiar. Mine also got stuck and there was no way of reactiviting them. Also unplugged them to be open all the time. I heard one might loose some low-torque but i don't know if that is correct.

Hi,
should have stopped by earlier
driving the RS4 for 2 years and 50tkm so far. Problems like exhaust flaps not working etc. sound familiar ... overall a great car - makes fun every day.
