Helix is good. Any synthetic 5 - 30 or 40 will do the job. I have been using mobil 1 in mine for the last 3 changes. Its only £28 a carton from costco and I change the oil every 2500 miles...... still gold when I drop the oil out but it helps to keeps the engine gremlins at bay.....

Hi Nick At the belt change I also replaced (SKF cambelt kit includes) toothed belt 2 guide rollers belt tensioner (manual one on right) belt tensioner (spring one on left) (not in kit) Water pump Termostat 8 x M8 x 25 crank shaft pulley socket head cap screws (old ones had rusted heads) Idler pulley...

I received the new key on wednesday and went through the same process as you without the booze...... :biggrin2: not the easiest thing to do but mine works fine (after a significant dickin about) Borders on impossible to get the glass chip and PCB out of the old fob. I landed up re-using the old part...

Morning
When I charged it the rear wheels were on ramps and the front on the ground so weight on all 4 wheels so I could check the ride heights hadnt changed.

Been thinking about fitting a test point to the DRC and think it can be done fairly easily..... The way I see it the system would need to be measured without losing any fluid as the testing I did on mine showed a difference with a very small volume of oil. I did some surfing on the blauparts kits and there was alot of negative comments from the US forums...
Landed up buying an SKF kit with an OE belt, water pump and t stat. Fitted it myself and thought the SKF kit was first class

some extra info Never left a test point in but not a bad idea Dave. Quick Coupling from Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400272166530?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 This has both male and female ends so can be connected at any point in the DRC. There are connections at all 4 shocks...
