RS6 Distance Impulse Number needed please

Afternoon,

Can anyone let me know the Distance Impulse Number the speedo uses to calculate the vehicle's speed from the ABS pulses?
It's in Instrumentation - 17 - in VCDS.
For an RS6 C5 running vanilla 255-35-19's, please.

That would be much appreciated :)

Looked on ebay? There's 2x S6's being broken for spares at the moment.

Full VCDS and laptop over in Poole, if that's any help.

ETKA part no. request

Morning all,

Can anyone help me check the part number for the nearside rear lower wishbone for my 2000 S6 Avant?
I think it's 4B0 505 311, but would appreciate a sanity-check - my version of ETKA isn't great on that year.

Many thanks,
Al.

Re: S6 Fuel Consumption...What ya getting?

Evening Matt, Welcome. Not much chatter in the S6 section, I'm afraid, but the RS6-C5 area's always busy, and there's plenty of knowledge you can ponce from there whilst remaining smug about no intercooler leaks or DRC issues on S6's :) Anyway - S6 auto avant - best I've got is just under 25, on a r...

Re: Help! Headlight Adjustment

Had the car up to my local mechanics yesterday, he had a go at moving the adjuster but said that he thinks it's not connected to the refelector. Time to get the headlight out and have a good look at it. I've tried before but can't seem to release it, so any advice on how I can remove it with the bu...

Re: Go on, deny it

He'd do better if he sorted his spring-rates and let his nicely-beadlocked tyres down below 40psi IMO.

Re: The RS6 of motorbikes...

Not sure mate. Still can't see Ducati matching Honda reliability though TBH. Would it hide the miles? Probably not, but why risk it - just buy a winter hack. Perfect excuse to get another bike too :) When I had the ZX, I had a Fazer 6 as a hack. Both on a multibike policy with Bikesure - cheap as ch...

Re: The RS6 of motorbikes...

I've got stiff hips so even on the 'bird I fitted a peg lowering kit (about 3/4 - 1 inch) and it makes it fine for me. I've also put on bar risers to make it less sport/more tourer as I commute on it and hence it helps reduced the weight on my wrists when there's no wind blast holding me up :) I di...

Re: The RS6 of motorbikes...

That seat cowl works really well ! :) Ta :beerchug: Lose the pillion pegs, make a new can hanger, pop that on, and it looks much better. Nice Blackbird. I had one as a loaner for a few months(!) ages ago. Epic engine, but weird thing - I couldn't get on with the riding position. I found it more unc...

On my S6, they (only) light up when you move the lever from D across to Tip.
