Wow, you've still got it? I thought you sold it a while back! Fetching decent prices if they're low mileage!darkhorse1210 wrote:Adam

Re: Time warp RS2
If that was in RS Blue, it would have sold by now.
In fact, I think a blue one sold for approx £35k about 18 months ago?

Re: RS2 on fleabay
RS6 prices are nuts - so much car for the money, and incredible to think you can get an RS6 for less than a good RS2!! But I'd constantly live in fear of the bills. I'm no stranger to splashing out on maintenance (my old GTA cost me £5k/year in maintenance/upgrades) but the RS6 is a step too far eve...

Re: RS2 on fleabay
Not sure why that RS Blue one is still there - IIRC it was for sale last year, then dissappeared, and its back up again. Looks a good spec at a decent price.
Can't imagine prices getting any lower than they are now, in all honesty. Love that yellow one though!

Re: Rear diff oil replacement
Just to clarify this, seems that its just over a litre, as you fill it until to the bottom of the fill plug (ie, until it starts to spill out!) In terms of type, seems that the best stuff is Millers TRX75W90 or Fuchs Titan Sintopoid SAE 75W90 full synthetic - although Oilman recommends the Fuchs 75W...

Rear diff oil replacement
As I'm a big believer in regular oil changes, the RS2 will be having its intermediate oil change in Jan. At the same time, I'm also looking to change the rear diff oil. Has anyone changed the rear diff oil, any recommendations in terms of oil and the process? Seems to be a bit of confusion on the S2...

Re: New Owner
I hope that Gmund are paying for that service! Unfortunately not, it has done around 1600 miles since its last service, but it's due time wise and I don't want to upset it's service history. It has been serviced at around 6k miles every 12 months for all its life. It also hasn't really been used re...

But let us know how you get on with MRC, hoping to get mine there soon for their custom remap.

Re: Tyres
I've been looking at tyres also - what I have on now are decent in the dry but a little scary in the wet, and with winter coming up I don't want to take any chances - although its either the tyres or an MRC custom map, head says I should do the former... Was really impressed with the PS2's on my GTA...

Re: New Owner
Does look really clean, congrats on the purchase - I'm sure you'll love it.
Question though - do you know what suspension its on? Gmund say its standard, but its really low?
