Just Built up a set of these, weighing in at 9.5kg inc bell.
Not bad when you consider our WRC disc and bell is 8.5kg and disc only expected to last for 250km (stage)

Sounds like the tech has nicked an o-ring on one of the cooler pipes when pushing them in.
I would remove and inspect (or get them to) before it gets worse.....
You can pick up a pair of orings easily and cheap. Just dont make their mistake and make sure you grease them

Im working in Belgium at the moment, came out of a shopping centre to see someone pointing at a large pool of oil under my car. Got it back and stripped myself to find the oil cooler pipes destroyed with rust. Personally I cant understand how this is acceptable.... its a disgrace for a car like this...

Funny.... I bought my rs4 exactly a year ago today from Oscar....
A lot of nice cars in the yard, s8'setc. Played dumb about common problems like Drc etc, but did everything I requested (including new damper)
Couldnt fault him! Mine was a lot higher mileage but has never missed a beat

Just fitted a Thuele box and bike carrier.... sorry now I didnt go for the flush Whispbars as they would have just about fitted together on them. But I can always add a second bike carrier in future. About to drive to Lake Garda, was wondering if there is any speed restrictions i should be wary off ...
