Yes good point I did seal the tyres.
I hadn't thought of the sealant :( Something to add next time....
Did it last Saturday. Got some photos - the IronX is especially interesting after it 'looking clean'. I'll post them up shortly.

Just had a chat to the Warranty Lady at Audi Portsmouth on this same subject. Tailgate housing is added after the body is painted so is considered trim and is therefore under a 3 year warranty :( However, any other bodywork (mine has rust bubbles where the roof section joins under the roof railings)...

Best approach to car cleaning for a "beginner"

Hi all, So obviously I've cleaned a lot of cars over the last 20 years. But now I want to take some more care and start detailing my own car (B5 RS4) - pics to follow :) Now I've got some new kit but probably not all of it yet.
