I have the carbon exterior package and dynamic package too, so would also be interested to know if anyone has managed to fit a tow bar for carrying bikes.
Do RS6s fitted with a tow bar have part of the rear diffuser cut away?

Re: MY14 Auto Hold Assist problem/quirk
Hm that's interesting because it certainly remembers this setting on 2014 A6s. Could you test one more time making sure that you 'exit the car' in the following fashion - Shift to P, Stop engine, Remove seatbelt. The key part is removing the seatbelt only after stopping the engine otherwise hold ass...

MY14 Auto Hold Assist problem/quirk
Not sure what the proper name for this thing is but it's the little A button adjacent to the electronic parking brake button. It keeps the brakes held on so you don't have to hold your foot on the brake pedal at lights etc. Anyway, can anyone with a MY14 (perhaps 13 too) rs6 please confirm whether o...

Re: Wanted: C6 RS6 Plus Avant
Amar's car is a nice example for sure, unfortunately my dogs like to see what's behind us and the saloon doesn't have much of a view from the boot. I live in hope that eventually some fully loaded plus will come up for sale. I guess a fully loaded non plus would be worth having in the mean time but ...

Re: Wanted: C6 RS6 Plus Avant
I plan to hold onto it for a long time so I want it as fully featured as possible, which includes cosmetic improvements.

Wanted: C6 RS6 Plus Avant
The RS6 is simply the best car I've ever owned or still own, so much so that I don't think I can ever live without one again. As you can see from my sig I already own a 2010 RS6 but now I want an RS6 Plus. Simply put, if you have a C6 RS6 Plus Avant that you're thinking of selling, give me a shout, ...

Re: Brake pad lifetime
March '10, 29k miles.
I think there's just something bad in the air round here at the moment, I had 3 cars develop a mechanical fault all in the same week.

Re: Brake pad lifetime
Car is booked in for next Tuesday to get this looked at.
Poor car is feeling a bit sorry for itself right now, alternator failed last week too.

Re: Brake pad lifetime
Well, just been to look at the pads this morning and as far I can see the front o/s pads are almost non existent versus the front n/s pads which easily have 4ish mm+.. so looks like it's back to Audi to diagnose faulty calipers.

Brake pad lifetime
Hey guys, a bit of advice if you wouldn't mind. I had new pads and discs fitted all around in April this year and last week the brake pad sensor warning came on the dash. Audi took the car in to diagnose the warning and have just rung to say the front inner pads are warn and need replacing. By no me...
