54 RS6 Plus for sale
Hello again - I've dropped the price to £15,495. The car really is in excellent condition. the gearbox has four months' warranty since the rebuild. New pads. About 70% left on disks. Tyres about 60% left. Cambelt, tensioners and all associates stuff done 18 months ago. Bilstein PSS9, Hotchkis ARBs, ...

54 RS6 Plus for sale
Thank you
. I'm going to look for an A6 3.0 diesel (manual). There aren't very many. I've had an A4 3.0D manual (remapped) in the past and I liked it. Lots.. well a fair amount of torque and cheap to run.
Thanks again

Thank you! I'm really sad to see it go. I was considering just keeping it for weekend use but just can't afford it.
Do you guys think the current price of £17k is too high? I do

54 RS6 Plus for sale
Aah nice one! When he put the advert up he said he'd include interior pictures the following day. It a real shame as I'm in a rush to sell and the interior is immaculate! The seats have been regularly conditioned and even the headlight switch that had a tiny mark where the rubber was peeling off has...

Re: Plump it up
Yeah I do. It was like that when I got the car and don't know about the previous owner (although I have spoken to him). It's a shiny waterproof coating as you find on normal treated leather I'm sure. Doesn't matter now as it's gone and back to how it should be
Good thought though - cheers.

Re: Plump it up
Actually I'm sure that a previous owner had dyed / treated / sealed them as you would with normal leather not realising you're not supposed to do that.

Re: Plump it up
Hmm no. Good thought but it's an even coating all over including the backs of the seats. If you wet the sleeve of your jumper and rub it it comes off. Like a layer of lacquer of some sort. Elephant-Scrotum-in-a-Can maybe. Unless maybe the natural oils seep out over time and reach with the air...

Re: Plump it up
Seriously though have any of you seen this shiny greeny <beep>? Maybe as you say it's just dye (that shouldn't be used on undyed leather).
Thanks again

And bits of panty paste, gusset grease and a sprinkling of bum crumbs probably.

Re: Plump it up
Thanks for your advice - I've used LL for years and think its brilliant. Incidentally when I got the car the seats were quite shiny and had a green tinge. I gave them a clean with LL cleaner and a wet towel and they came back matte and (almost) black and like new. I used two bath towels to clean the...
