My ZX10R had a Yuasa battery fitted as standard by Kawasaki. It lasted 6 years on my bike before I had to replace it, but that was because I had left the bike sitting for 9 months without having the trickle charger fitted. I wouldn't be bothered about the issue of having a new engine in the car as far as re sale goes, keep all the pictures and document the history of the fault for the new owner.
