Re: Gearbox Engine Oil Cooler Upgrade

That looks much better than stock, what kind of money did that cost and would you consider replicating it for sale ?

Thanks Jock, been looking at your gearbox rebuild post, that valve body looks mental, certainly not a job for the faint hearted.

Re: Gearbox replacement, anybody used Mister Transmission ?

Of course 5 speed, thanks for the nudge.....LOLOL And yes Jock that is what bothers me, the 3K's worth of work that might get overlooked, It's a tough one and yet as you say £1800 is a blinding deal, almost too good to be true and yet I am kinda tempted to let them do it as the people I know who hav...

Re: Gearbox replacement, anybody used Mister Transmission ?

So Jock, what do you think ? Mr transmission reckon they can remove rebuild and refit my gearbox for £1800, they claim they can do it so cheaply because they have done so many it can be in and out in no time. I found them whilst searching for a ZF specialist.

Re: Gearbox replacement, anybody used Mister Transmission ?

Thanks again for all the comments, certainly food for thought re updated clutches, of course I am thinking that with the engine out, there may be other seals / gaskets that could do with changing just in case...... plus the car is also due its first cambelt as well. Gearbox replacement, anybody used Mister Transmission ?

Hi forum, I am thinking of getting the dreaded gearbox rebuilt by Mister Transmission in Charlton London, has anybody used them before ? I have done various searches of the forums and cannot find any mention of them and yet they claim to have rebuilt many C5 RS6 gearboxes.

Re: RS6 KNOCKING NOISE?

Many people do not even know they have DRC problems, I have spoken to untold people hopping and bouncing around London oblivious of a problem, surprisingly many of them were ladies as well.....
