had once the same/similar problems..
a marten ate the cable underneath.. so check out that possibility,you could never know (and yes they're also active in garage's)
car goes automaticly in 'lock' if cable is 'disconnected/broken'

car got double glass. front window got that kind of heat coating inside--kind of puprle/mirror (also an option) It's totally made to wish at quattro gmbh (before the plus came on the market. it got all it's optical gimmicks (no plus badge of course..)as the later official plus. but the extra coolers...
