Re: My old car...

To anyone interested, the car sounds good but be very wary of this particular garage and their warranty. I bought a car from them a few yrs ago and I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Re: Considering Selling

Unfortunately my circumstances have been such that I just haven't had the opportunity to drive the car as much as I would have liked. I didn't plan on the car being a daily driver, and as it's turned out I just haven't used the car anywhere near as much as I thought I would. Doesn't change the fact t...

Re: Considering Selling

I personally don't think you'll be able to do the pipes without doing the cooler. There is a material difference which makes it highly likely that when you try to disconnect/separate/unscrew the pipes from the cooler the threads will strip on one or both. The cost of the pipes was pretty steep as I ...

Re: Considering Selling

MOT passed today with no advisories. Was thinking about somewhere around the 21k mark for the car. The Mechanic who's garage did the MOT and oil cooler and told me he'd love to have the car but can't justify the RS4, his RS2 plus the vans for the business!

Re: Considering Selling

I originally thought about selling at the start of the summer as I hadn't driven the car for a few months. I took the car out for a drive, and remembered why it was so special and decided I wasn't going to sell. The time between these sort of drives is now longer and longer so it's making me wonder ...

Re: Considering Selling

Hi there, Been working long hours for the last 18months and things have cropped up at the weekends that most would deal with during the week. I'm also very picky about where I park the car and also where I take it.To avoid parking dings, scratches, etc I'll park it miles away from other cars, never ...

Considering Selling

Hi, Due to lack of use (only 2 or 3 times this year) I’m considering selling my Sprint Blue RS4 saloon. I’ve attached a couple of pictures for those who may be interested or who may wish to offer some advice on a selling price. The details of the car are that it’s a 56reg, has had 2 previous owners ...

Re: Camberley!

Dealers that give a <beep> about owners and their cars, if only that would catch on with the likes of Audi,Porsche and BMW here in Scotland.

Re: Oil cooler

I posted about replacing the pipes a few weeks back and have now found that the cooler connections are corroded away so it'll need changed anyway. An expensive job all in.

Re: DRC - Audi UK "aren't aware of it"

There aren't many modern well built cars that are needing shockers after 6 yrs and 38k miles. Shockers are not time related wear items it's much more to do with use,so mileage and type of mileage will have a bigger effect, generally. My car has had one shocker replaced around 18-24 mths ago covered u...

DRC - Audi UK "aren't aware of it"

Spoke to Audi Uk Customer Service Dept today after mechanic advised that the car "might" have a leak on one of the front shocks. The car is due to go into Audi for a service and I wanted to pre-empt what the situation would be with the "potentially" leaking shock. On calling Audi UK customer service...

Re: Oil cooler connection(s)

Thanks to all who have posted on this thread. I've found out that the cost of the pipe is around £120, whilst the cooler itself is closer to £600 plus vat. The pipe connects to the opposite side of the engine from the connection on the cooler, I'd be grateful if anyone could confirm how difficult it...
