If you don't like how far your Milltek sticks out...
Hi Guys Well I didn't like how far my Millteks stuck out from the rear bumper so I cut down the tailpipes. For anyone who would like to do this .. this is what I did (I take no responsability for anyone messing up their exhaust after following my method) Remove the tailpipe (one bolt on the exhaust ...

B7 Milltek on a B6
Just wondering whether anyone on here has fitted a B7 Milltek cat back to a B6 S4. Obviously the rear valance will need cutting to make the quads fit but I wanted to check whether it's going to work before ordering one (it's not a huge amount extra for the quads) Milltek themselves when asked were V...

Re: Potential New S4 owner
Mines the same (a lot of them are apparently) but it's now much improved since having it remapped. They have a very large butterfly plate in the throttle body which can be a bit slow to react when coming on throttle. The remap included a throttle position change where they effectively move the power...

Are you wasting your money on super unleaded?
I've noticed while reading through old posts that some people use 95 ron (normal unleaded) petrol in their S4s most of the time and every now and then put in a tank full of 98 ron to "have a play". Correct me I'm wrong but if you normally use 95 and then all of a sudden put in a tank of 98 the ECU w...

Happy Bunny!!
Well it's all sorted now :D Took it down to AMD in Woking and he went through it with a fine tooth comb. The throttle was giving 75% of power at only 30% of throttle travel. This was causing my problems combined with the large single butterfly throttle body which causes a low RPM flat spot under loa...

Thanks for the reply Chris. The weird thing is that if I'm sat idling and touch the throttle it seems to respond instantly but if I'm in gear (2nd for example) with my foot off the throttle .. when I press it there's a delay of about half a second before I get any acceleration. Then it's a bit of a ...

Hesitant acceleration
I was hoping that someone can give me some pointers towards a fix for this problem ... When I'm driving in traffic (stop start) if I'm slowing down to walking pace and then go to pull away gently again there's a slight hesitation between me pressing the accellerator and the power coming on. It's lik...
