Re: Air con - fixed just in time for the heatwave
Digging this old thread up hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My air con has packed up due the drier leaking (split housing) Nobby, did the alternative from Autodoc fit? looks like the male and female threads are reversed in the pictures. Does anyone know where I can get one please?

Re: Cleaning a F125 switch
Sorry to drag an old post up. I've had a few Transmission Range Sensor (F125) errors come up recently so want to change the switch. I'm sure my switch has a round plug on it but the ones linked to in this thread appear to be square / oblong plugs. Are they 2 choices / part numbers? Tried to find pic...

Re: Rear view mirror sticky pad
Yes, glued the button on with the Permatex 81840 Extreme Rearview Mirror Professional Strength Adhesive, First attempt didn't work so I did it again and dared to use 2 drops and it has worked. Brutus is pretty much all up together now just the tailgate water leak to sort out.

Re: Rear view mirror sticky pad
I've been through the windscreen hassle, took Autoglass 3 atempts to get it right last time and they ended up putting a genuine screen in.

Re: Rear view mirror sticky pad
I've ordered Permatex 81840 Extreme Rearview Mirror Professional Strength Adhesive to try. If this dosen't work a new screen will be sorted.

Re: Rear view mirror sticky pad
I know what you guys mean as I've had a new screen myself. But looking at whats left on the mirror it is some sort of sticky pad. Maybe I'll have to accidentally crack the windscreen and claim on the insurance

Rear view mirror sticky pad
Does anyone know where I can get the sticky pad for the rear view mirror please? I bought a new mount from Audi but it does not have the sticky pad on it. I have tried some from Halfords but they were useless also tried some expensive 3M double side tape but still wont hold the mirror to the screen.

Re: Bose fuse
I have sound now but still no radio reception on any frequency, Anyone had this before. Anyone have a wiring diagram for the diversity system? I was hoping the wiring fault I found would resolve this problem to but alas not.

Check the wiring under passenger seat, by the seat rail nearest the transmission tunnel. Sorted my problems.

Re: Bose fuse
What on earth is that Frankenstein bulb holder circuit? That's one of the many LED lights thats Footers fitted, guessing its canbus error free with the circuit board :bigblink: Think they came from Trups. Update swapped Bose units between cars and made no difference but at least it's tested...
