Re: Audi C5 RS6 Carbon Air Intake Guides
I paid half as deposit as instructed but not received anything as yet - was going to collect as only up the road - should we have heard something by now? Looks like most have been received? CheeRS

Re: Best place for silicon uprated intercooler pipes and VAGCOM etc
silicon uprated intercooler pipes Opinions may differ, but after trying to keep those do88 silicon boost pipes in place for months, my best decision was to come back to oem. They've kept popping off and sliding on the metallic pipes... Nevertheless I have a set for sale if you're smarter than I am!...

Re: KW V1 vs rebuild
Defo not as crashy or seem so hard but did adjust the ride height a bit from memory which may have improved it. Still pretty stiff but much more compliant and feels safer at speed

Re: Manual RS6 on Fleabay
Hmmm unless the miles on the previous ad were rounded up it appears to have lost a few…. Advertised at 148500. You would initially look at that purchase price and say nice mark up but “if” it has been done properly, has new turbos as listed etc there is a lot of work (labour wise) in that car. Still...

Re: KW V1 vs rebuild
For my 2p’s worth I have v1’s (thought they were v3 when I bought the car) and found them really crashy and also had a lot of understeer. I ended up getting someone in to do a full set up on the car https://www.chassis-setup.co.uk/track-and-race-setup This included full adjustment where possible (do...

Re: Boost - 12 years in and it’s still a ball ache
So had a play today, took off the airbox and one MAF was def not seating right, after a bit of investigation it was being fouled by a vacuum pipe - had the engine out on mine quite a few times so garage could have mis-fitted a bit. Managed to move it a bit, swapper MAF’s over and with no air is in t...

Re: Boost - 12 years in and it’s still a ball ache
You need to see what boost the car is requesting and what is being achieved. Drive it and log groups 2, 32 and 115. If the car is not requesting, that is a different kettle of fish to not achieving. Cheers Shop, will do - she’s on the top stack in the garage but will have a shift about and get a ma...

Re: Boost - 12 years in and it’s still a ball ache
Been there, welcome to the club! ;) Awaiting for the master's wisdom, I'd start by swapping the maf sensors, inspect all depression hoses (in particular those connected to the recirculation valves), check boost hoses, make a comprehensive output test to check all actuators (particularly N249, N75, ...

Re: Boost - 12 years in and it’s still a ball ache
Afternoon all, hope you had a good bank holiday weekend so far! Started having a play with the car, checked the readings again and MAF’s way off now… checked the air box and assume they had “lost” one of the nuts that holds the air box down when it had its service :x Reseated the air box and got eve...
