O.....K....... If it was me I am worried (19+ stone chugga) - if it was the missus, you need to go to Specsavers! She doesn't brush up bad for an oldy.

Sad times yours was the purple saloon with ceramics? How did u get rid? Trade or sale? What's next Yep - "the" purple one. Probably the only purple one. Great fun though. P/X in the end for a new Freelander (before the snow came!) - head and heart moment, but couldn't justify the 13mpg on average s...

So long, farewell....anyone need a tyre or oil?

Well after 3 years of mega mega fun, it has finally happened. The RS6 is going - a sad day, but not exactly practical for the school run anymore. Truly an amazing car - we will both miss a lot. Will keep a (jealous) eye on the forum. (If anyone needs a Pirelli P Zero Rosso 275 35 ZR20 with 5mm of tr...

Re: Warranty (Audi)

Sounds exactly what we were quoted by Mondial....except with a one month exclusion to ensure no pre-existinng problems. Had a conversation with the nice guys at QST who said the C6 RS6 is pretty tough - so decided to risk it. So far, no problems at all. Sod's Law though - something will go bang or p...

Re: Winter Tyres

Don't know about barges, but we had Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D in each corner - problem we had was finding 20"-ers. Kiwk Fit came up trumps. Currently in their tyre hotel and will swap over in a couple of weeks time.

And they do make one hell of a difference - very noticable in the wet.

Hate to say it, but Admiral every year. Win by a country mile. Price AND service.

Why do they have to be based in Wales? Damn my money helping Welsh RFU...they don't need any help.

Sounds a bit tight, but work out best places to fill up. We did 2,600 mile round trip down to Italy - many fill ups - surprisingly Switzerland was cheaper than France: http://www.theaa.com/resources/Document ... ly2012.pdf

Re: Oil level

At last service, Audi were so kind as to change the oil to "minimum" - nothing like saving a few quid on the Castrol Edge....tight arses. Light came on within 500 miles.
