Once you've taken the screws out from underneath, in the wheel arch and from inside the door jam, you'll have to carefully ease it off the double-sided tape it is also stuck on with.
Very easy to distort the plastic and cause crazing in the paintwork as the tape is really strong.

Wanted: RS4 rear n/s sill trim corner piece
Bit of a long shot I know but; I stupidly managed to damage the small rear moulded corner piece that goes between the long plastic sill moulding and the rear wheel arch  The part number is 8E0853579E. If anyone knows where I can get a decent one from (ideally in avus silver - LY7J), it would s...

Re: Wanted: OEM TPMS for B7 RS 4
I initially made him an offer which I think was a bit too cheeky, but fair play to him, he came back with a counter offer of £30/each which I accepted. So I've ordered 4 from him today. Looks like we're all getting the same deal. Good value I reckon, compared to dealer prices.

Re: "TPMS" message in DIS
Yes I have VCDS. It's not that I'm not bothered, I would like to have them working, but I don't want to risk any damage to my newly refurbed wheels. Maybe I'll do it after my first puncture or curbing of a wheel, it's sure to happen some time in the near future

Re: "TPMS" message in DIS
Makes sense I suppose, just not heard anyone else mention the yellow text coming up in the DIS. I should have taken the opportunity to swap out the sensors when I had the wheels done and new rubber fitted, don't fancy taking them all off again just for the sake of this. As you say, I'll just disable...

"TPMS" message in DIS
I get a TPMS message in the DIS after driving for about 15 mins. I have reset the pressures using the "Store Pressure" and "Wheel Change" options and the display goes out, only to reappear in another 15-20 mins or on my next journey. I had my wheels refurbed recently and all has been fine for a coup...

Re: Possible coolant issue
Did mine this weekend, simple to do but time consuming if you've not done it before. I bought from Aberdeen Audi too.
Remember to look at your oil cooler lines too while you have the bumper off.

Re: Quick bit of help if poss from vagcom users
Had a similar problem with my other car (Golf). In this case the alternator was overcharging (16.6V) and had caused the airbag light to come on. Instead of swapping out the whole alternator, I changed the Voltage Regulator, this is part of the alternator and is a simple swap. It cost me just £15 ins...

It wasn't the light cluster that was letting in water on mine, see here;

Re: Door Trim
I think it was about £80 for the part and around £20 to spray it. I had mine done free of charge because of a number of other issues I was 'discussing' with them at the time.

Re: Door Trim
I had the same issue. This trim piece is a plastic moulding which has a steel plate inside it. The steel corrodes inside the plastic and starts to delaminate, then pushes the plastic out of shape. Not covered by warranty, but a friendly dealer may do you a deal and throw in a bit of goodwill. Rememb...
