Three weeks in with new front Audi discs and carbotech bobcat front pads,very pleased,no noise so far,good increase in stopping power,can haul the speed off nicely now... overall very pleased ..........

Overall cost was £900.... oem front disc and carbotech bobcat pads and the guys labour who looks after it... done at his garage at home... 3 weeks in,no noise,noticeble stopping increase,very pleased so far... have to see what the wear rate is like over time.......

New front OEM discs fitted,matched with carbotech bobcat pads,only been a week,no noise/squealing,more stopping power,very pleased so far... time will tell .......

New discs and pads required up front,going for oem discs and carbotech pads... bobcat i think... will report on possible noise from pads... just need a little bit more stopping power. hoping the bobcats will achieve this.... see if noise is an issue... should have pads next week ..........Waffy .......

Morning peoples....anyone on doing there audio upgrade...new speakers...blah blah blah.....just have front speaker set up with bass from boot,but no speakers in rear doors....speaking to a guy yesterday...ears facing forward....speakers in rear,just confuse the sound ?????????????????....got to go b...

nothing cut off Mav,more to do with the fact there is a gauze/mesh/cloth filter in there.......which has been doing its job for ten plus years now......

Just a quick update,3 weeks since gearbox service and oil pickup pipe change,smoother than a cashmere codpiece at the moment...cooler weather at mo....still lovely and smooth....fingers crossed...that was the issue... Waffy...

Wonder if yours had the wrong length pick up pipe on then? According to the guy who looks after mine,the new oil pick up pipe had a cloth/gauze filter in middle of it,so possibly after 10 years of running,mine may have been slightly or partialy blocked,running like a dream at mo,give it a few more ...

Just a quick update on gearbox,after talking to Doud at MRC,although have been having gearbox oil changed yearly,Doug suggested putting a new oil pick up pipe in,which has now been done along with gearbox service/oil ,early days yet,car transformed,back to normal,will keep monitoring,fingers crossed...
