Mr Crazy,

EBC do specific Discs (sorry Rotors) for the B5 RS4 Part Number D1148 Front and D1149 on the rear. You have to ring them to get prices though.

RE: Wanted Standard B5 S4 17" Alloy(s)

Hi Angus2005. You could try VRS in Northampton (they do deliver if you're not local). I had a cracked spare when I bought mine and they had one in for braking. Cost me £45ish if I recall correctly.

RE: Re: RE: Hello

Thanks for the clarifications. I have update my image of the overtaking manouver (I opted for the 25 in dark blue (3 door) if you're interested). I have also started using the 'expression' as I see fit, but have actually added the 'e' back on the end of ride as per your original post. It scans bette...

RE: Hello

A splendid intro Rich but I do have a couple questions for you.
attempt to pass some pensioner (with a hat on) in a Rover
you don't specify what Rover, it would help with the image in my head if you could detail it.
eco magic carpet rid

Lovin' the taxi look Steve. Do you use it on the road and if so do you ever actually get mistaken for a real taxi (or in fact do you actually use it as a taxi :-))

I'm not obsessed by taxi's or owt, just curious!

Good point i forgot the standard were 17"....I've had 18's for that long it's become the norm If you were to buy some new wheels with tyres though, then sell the standard ones and recoup at the very least a third of the money you spent.....You'd have new wheels, new tyres and more room for bigger b...

Agreed, but then you need to swap the wheels to 18's as the S4 17's won't clear the RS4 callipers. I really wanted to do that but couldn't justify the extra money for new wheels (yet :-) ).

RE: brakes and power on budget

I guess that depends on what 'a tight budget' means. EBC grooved discs and Yellow stuff pads for the front, about £400 and then a visit to MRC for a remap another £400/500. That's my plan, but currently my budget is a little too tight for that. I'm sure the experts will advise. :D

I can imagine that as the wheel is effectiveley bolted to the base of the disc/rotor, if the wheel is buckled it will put some sideways force on the disc itself. It doesn't suprise me that buckeld wheels will eventually bend discs. Then again I'm a complete numpty that knows almost nothing!

RE: New Hobbit joins the fellowship of the rings

I've only had mine a matter of weeks so it's still original. The old faffing bug is likley to start soon though! A little remap here and an ARB there. It's quite adequate to be going on with though.
