Have you noticed any decrease in power ala Milltek cat back (supposedly)? Hm, I've never heard about it. I doubt that a catback can cause reduced power. Presumably if you dump the cats or install freer flowing ones you might encounter some issues, but not with the catbacks I think :? As for me, wel...

They already do love me :P What's wrong with the SW0090?

Tubi exhaust + X-pipe installed

Hello to everyone! As some of you know I had tubi installed a few months ago and despite the fact that it was highly enjoyable I thought it wasn't loud enough. So yesterday I went to Hamman where a friend of mine works and had a custom X-pipe welded instead of a stock resonator. The result. It is lo...

Just overcast. Presumably the california isn't as fast as we think it is? Or maybe the driver was just toying with me? :P

Don't know, maybe you're right. But judging by the pics the supersprint centre section looks at least two times smaller than the stock one. That's gotta have an effect of some sort? :?

It's very very quiet despite the valves position. I used to have it. Bought Tubi a week later. What I suggest is a decat with resonators + Tubi catback. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. But that will probably require a ecu remap as most of the people here told me. As for me, I'm just looking at ...

To give me the volume and sound quality I am seeking I am looking at either a resonated + valved Milltek or Capristo system.
Resonated + valved Milltek sounds no louder or more aggressive than stock exhaust. Maybe you meant non-resonated?

Thanks for the replies, guys! My Tubi is just a catback. And no it is not quiet but it's quieter than I thought it would be. Concerning the Tubi centre pipe - they found out that it caused resonance and vibration on the back seats and stopped all production of it. I might try getting myself an after...

Believe it or not...

Today I had a little race with a Ferrari California. Believe it or not but I kept up. I guess that sort of ends all of the discussion on how underpowered our cars are :P

Well actually the downpipes do make it a little bit louder (more raspier) due to increased airflow I think. Here is a clip on YT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PUjK97L7z3c
I wouldn't change the center pipe though. Afraid it might be too loud or start to drone or whatever.

Rs4 Downpipes

About a month ago I got my Tubi exhaust installed. Had (and still having) fun but it seems quiet now that I've got used to it. Thinking about buying a set of downpipes for it. Mainly interested in sound gains. Has anyone here tried that? Any problems I might encounter? (With ecu perhaps?) Does it re...

Update. Just came back from the service. They couldn't find anything anything wrong with the engine. The only problem was a very very dirty air filter which was obviously changed. And on the way back, I must say the car felt just as fast as hell :D
