Re: Jan 2007 B7 RS4
Spent the last few weeks looking for an engine without any luck so thought I'd advertise it on here in its current condition and price it accordingly, I'm absolutely gutted to be honest as this has been an amazing car over the past 6 years

Re: Jan 2007 B7 RS4
Nothing to do with carbon clean that was done 18 months ago it just shut down in the snow a few weeks ago
Other than putting a camera down the spark plug no further investigation has been carried out
It will require a new engine

Re: opened up a complaint with audi today!!!
Exactly the same situation as me 4 months ago however Audi gave me 2 weeks i think from making the offer to have the work completed or the goodwill would have been revoked, I took it as far as i could with Audi UK and got absolutely nowhere so accepted the offer. Make sure you have a good look at th...

Re: Bubbling Arches
My arch was/is bubbling and Audi authorised the repair, but the 'zinc inclusions' in the rear door aren't covered for the same reason. I asked for some sort of clarification as to why it counts as a paint issue (like you said, 3 year warranty) but they guy just said "HQ will reject that, no point e...

Re: Bubbling Arches
I have accepted their offer, car booked in Monday, but I'm still not happy about it hence the question on here.
They gave me 3 weeks to have the work completed by them which doesn't give much time to question this further.

Bubbling Arches
At the beginning of last month i noticed 3 of the inner arches had just started to bubble, i took the car straight to Audi bodyshop who took pictures and submitted a claim against the anti corrosion. Last week the claim was rejected but was told Audi good will will pay 70% of the cost so i decided t...

Re: mobile phones
I've had Sony mobiles for years and love them, currently got the Xperia Z, i would highly recommend them. The camera takes high quality pictures, the walkman 'throws' music around my house via the wireless network and its true to its word that it is waterproof. I've never understood the apple thing,...
