Just had the timing belt, idlers, tensioner, thermostat and water pump replaced today (£1200) hoping it was the timing that was out...... The dreaded management light went off after resetting, half a mile down the road, its back with avengence!!! THE FAULT IS STILL ON!!!

MTM TCU chip was going strong at 112,000 had a service, ATF and filter change sump not properly tightened, all oil pissed out 300 miles later, gearboxed packed up today. No warning lights. :cry:

Hi Guys, Thanks for all your replies, i had the car diagnised again and its the original cylinders 3 and 7 misfiring again. I will go with the spark plugs for now although they were changed less than 500 miles ago. The plugs were laser platinums, main dealer supplied with chasis number reference. Co...
