Unfortunately if and when a new engine is fitted it will be going up for sale and hopefully sold before its even run in. Don't sell because of what's happened you've been unlucky, it's a lot of car for the money IMO I was about to put it up for sale before it went bang as lost my job couple of mont...

Yeah I'm surprised their still keeping you in the dark. When they agree to fit the new engine you should ask for the new B8 Rs4 engine to be fitted - if it fits of course +/-0 That seems like a completely reasonable request. I was registered on the old forum, but the password got lost along the way so I had to reactivate my account hence 0 posts.

I had to break my duck and show my disdain for someone who works for a recruitment company. They are second only to estate agents.
