Let me get this straight?

You've just been on holiday to portugal, you've got to blat your RS3 to the local stealer. Borrow an R8 Spider while there's this awful spring weather about, then go back a couple of days later to pick up your new RS4.

Does your misses call you golden balls?

As a man who is still pining for RS4 ownership, this is a very disturbing tale, yet every cloud has a silver lining as anyone who's been fortunate enough to read this will now have a better chance of avoiding such a situation. I would certainly walk away, unless you're planning on keeping it forever...

I see what you say Ian, i think the thing I read suggested a thief would rather be in something grey or black than bright blue so not to draw attention to himself...or herself I guess...

My preference would be for the Dolphin grey avant with optics.

If your car is in a garage, and you pack your other car up against the door that may be enough... Though they may just pinch both sets of keys...

Just read this whole thread. As a man who is still lusting after an RS4 rather than owning one this scenario is a little worrying. I did read something once that said generally theives will go dull colours when pinching something, not something too shouty. On that basis I may get a blue one. Remarka...

Plan for 2011 - sell 350z buy house with a big fat garage, buy RS4. Enjoy 2012.
