Wow, you've been looking for a C5 RS6 for the past 5 years! I know they're rare, but no way are they that rare.

Re: RS6 for £6k?!!...bargain or money pit? DA03UZS
I use them all the time, trying to buck the trend. I'm guessing the car has been sold as it's no longer on their website. May be the OP bought it in the end.

£4500. The guy was keen to move the M5 and felt he could move the RS6 on quickly. I bought it January 2010 on 74k miles.

Re: Very Rough Idle - cold start
I was thinking MAF or may throttle potentiometer. I've not checked the trim values, as it's not all the time. I'll do a few cold starts with the laptop plugged in and see what data I can read off. Wouldn't an air leak cause it to happen both hot and cold? Hows the coolant temp sender likely to cause...

Very Rough Idle - cold start
As the title suggests, I'm getting a very rough idle every now and then. It only happens first thing in the morning and It's not every time though. The issue is when the engine starts all seems fine, it idles fine until I select a gear. Then the rev counter bounces all over the place and if you take...

Re: RS6 C5 Milestone
I was more focused on the 20.1 MPG, clearly your not trying hard enough.
Well done on the mileage, good going.

Re: Not a lot of light outside
They are a little milky, I'll give them a clean up in the next couple of day and see what difference that makes. The aim seems good, I have a reference point on my garage doors.

Not a lot of light outside
I've noticed that my headlights don't seem as bright as other cars. Would changing the bulbs help improve the amount of light projected, if so what rating have people gone with?

Re: Electrical issues
Thanks guys, is the only place to get a VCDS Ros tec? Seems expensive for a lead and some software! Take the car to an Audi dealer and ask them to run a diagnostic, then you'll see how cheap the Ross-Tech cable and software is. It's a very valuable tool to have available to you, especially with the...

Re: Lazy question time....
You may need to do a little research into this subject, as you'll find that there are compatibility issues.

Air Quality Sensor (G238)
Got this popping up as a fault on mine at the moment. Can it wait for the service, due in 2500 miles or so, or should I get it sorted now?

Goodwood FOS, Sunday 28th June
As I've won tickets to the Sunday I'll be heading down this year. It would be rude not to. Anyone else going along?
