Mini did the same as you are describing, ended up a couple of times staying on the floor. But managed to put the front of my foot underneath and pull the clutch pedal back up.

Mine went into Audi and was fixed under warranty - new master cylinder was fitted.

No, no fuel costs back from the Astra, the issue Europcar had was I never returned it full - we where a little pressed for time when we dropped the car off.

As a trade in price probably in the region of £24k

Just a quick update to my fellow travellers. Got the final confirmation letter of payment for the Fuel I used in the Hire Car, its took this long to sort this item out........if only I had filled up prior to dropping the car off lol

During a slightly spirited B Road drive saw the Oil Temp reach 116 yestarday. Mine always hovers around the 100 - 102 when stuck in traffice, but must admit I haven't been stuck when the ambiant has been high.
