Is this sound normal?

Start up the car from cold, and you can hear a slight worn bearing style sound on the engine if you put your head close to it by the passenger wheel

It dies down after a minute or two.

Normal?

£68,000 basic !!! No way  Totally! Exchange rate doesn't seem to be a problem over at BMW. Stuggling to see how they'll be able to justify the extra over a basic m3 at 53k - and cheaper if you shop around. The 68K is a mere currency translation at 88p to the quoted Euro price of 77,700. The ...

The game hasn't moved on! It doesn't look as good as the RS4, is less practical, comes with too many options (wheels etc - this is an RS, it should come specced with the best wheels from day 1) and the engine is barely any different. Also due to the high price of the RS5, it could be argued that RS4...

Disappointing! Cannot believe they have the audacity to even mention a similarity to the RS2, in the above article. It is about as far removed from the original 'RS' concept as possible. Looks diluted, not sporty enough, but not discreet either. Too similar to the S5 - Just doesn't have the 'wow' fa...

Looking round the Audi dealership this morning (MOT passed 8) ) have to say I much prefer the chiselled B7 looks, aside from the R8 didn't warm to most of the rather bland smoothed new cars ? Have to agree, a lot of the current audi range look too bloated (the r8 excluded) and could quite easily go...

Nice car, although similar in principle (fast luxury estates) the rs6 really is a giant next to the rs4!

Are you going to get it remapped? Heard of some crazy figures!

the flexibility of the engine amazes me
This what makes this engine so fantastic.

People get so hung up on peak power figures, it's the area under the graph that is important - i.e spread of power which allows for flexibility.
