Re: Looking for a RS6 or GTR... Advice needed...

I had both for a while and ended up selling the GTR as it didn't get used.

Re: Be careful out there....

I had my house broken into for the rs6 keys earlier this year. Luckily, both the wife and I were out so no car keys were left in the house.

Re: Exit Stage Left?

I've gone the opposite way (A45 to RS6). The A45 really needs a map to liven it up. MSL or Renntech are the standout places for a decent map. I ran mine with cup 2 tyres which sorted out the understeer. 40mpg with a light foot, sub 4secs to 60 and sub 9 to 100 (with a map).

Worked it out on the way home. The shift lights only show up on the heads up display and not the dash.
You are wrong, they showed in both in hud as well in dash, you need to be in manual mode and use shift paddles
Not on my car...

Re: Downpipes

It will be remapped as well. Thinking on, is there anyone in the South Yorkshire area with a milltek fitted to their c7 who wouldnt mind me popping over to hear how loud these exhausts actually are?

Downpipes

Having had a chat with MRC about power options, it appears that the bulk of the power uplift from an exhaust change comes from the downpipes & sports cats replacing the OE items. As i'm not after more exhaust noise, i'm thinking of just having the downpipes and cats placed and leaving the OE sports ...

The only difference i can see between the photos is that yours has a flag symbol next to the time. Is yours in sport mode?

Re: Buying an RS6 without Dynamic package or Pan roof

Was thinking about getting the mtc stage 2 done so ill ask for a mtm run, std run and stage 2 run on the same day for comparison.

Tried that, going right upto the red line when driving in manual and using all the different car modes.
