I own a bodyshop is wiltshire so i have some knowledge of this type of repair and it seems from the photo like a very excessive price for repair, it looks like both damaged parts would repair and should be more like £500 ish at a guess, what is the breakdown of costs? p.s looks the same as my car, p...

As a new owner of a earlyish 2006 car would it be worth while upgrading the pipe you spoke about, or if it drives fine is it likely that someone would have already replaced it?

Thats really interesting, the milltek part i've bought is also listed on ebay (item no. 330352454308) if you get a chance have a lookj and see what you think?
I do't want it too loud but i also didn't really want to change the rear boxes so thought it might be a good solution?

Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone out ther has changed the exhaust pipe parts on a V8 RS4 from cat back (to remove the centre boxes) but then kept the original rear boxes in place?
I'm keen to find out the drawbacks etc.
