I have had my 2011 S4 B8 manual for several weeks now, bought from a main dealers with only 14000 miles. After owning a much loved S4 B6 with a sports exhaust did not really think the B8 would be a lot quicker. i was wrong! Sooo pleased with the performance i have decided to have an MRC stage 1.

I think Conti sport 3 are the best ive had but the Vredesteins that i have now are pretty good and about £40 less

You do not have to have Xl tyres, but for peace off mind get them.
I got Vredestein Xl 235 40 18 y, £120 almost as good as ContiSport 2s

I like the Goodwood Green

3 new Continental contact 3's for £460 OR 4 Falken FK452 for £400.

Both 235 40 18 y

is the saving worth the loss in performance?

are the FALKENS any good?

any ideas welcome

i have one 2004 b6 manual Good Green.

i have just finished a trip to see some friends and clock up nearly 600
miles , i have been using Tesco 99 @
£1.10.9 a ltr.
On the way out i averaged 27.3 at around 80mph, home i dropped down to 23mpg, lots of lights.

i have stll yet to see another Goodwood Green S4?

Does anyone with an S4 B6 run it with higher octane fuel?
Is it worth the extra money?
Does it run better?
Shell, BP our Supermarket ?

Had the car since Xmas 2008.

It is still putting a smile on my face every time i drive it.
Best car ive had so far.
