Wanted - RS4 B5 ECU (swap \ plug and play)

I'm after a replacement ECU to swap into my B5 RS4 Stock mapping is fine or options for reliable map with stock gear are good. Ideally it'll be a plug and play (I have no gear at this end) unless it's simple and cheap for a mechanic to pair \ Audi Shipping to New Zealand The back story is , is my me...

Clutch kit : Needing bedding in or wrong kit?

Hi all, Hoping you can help me out. I've had the RS4 off the road for more than a year now (sourcing parts etc). It's all back together abut the mechanics suspect the clutch kit I sourced is incorrect for the car. It slips under load. I've got some other feedback suggesting it could just need beddin...

Re: Wanted : B5 (2001) RS4 Front mounted oil cooler

Get a setrab one . It's the same thing . You just have to get someone to weld the the brackets from your original oil cooler onto the setrab one . Plus you can fit stainless steel fittings you will never have the corroded joints issue again . Thanks! You wouldn't to happen to have a link to the cor...

Wanted : B5 (2001) RS4 Front mounted oil cooler

Hiya, I'm after a replacement front mounted oil cooler for my B5 RS4. I'm just on the tail end of an engine and gearbox rebuild and the mechanics have found that my oil cooler is missing some thread... Does anyone have any leads on a replacement unit (2nd hand is fine if in great condition) Cheers J...

Re: Wanted : B5 RS4 Engine. 2nd hand or refurb'd

Have had a reply from Jimbo but nothing for a while (am assuming he's a busy man) In the meantime I now have a better idea from the mechanic of what is needed (it went from possibly cheaper to get a whole engine to this list). Doesn't seem as bad now. Anyone able to help source these parts? Or the b...

Wanted : B5 RS4 Engine. 2nd hand or refurb'd

Hi, my B5 RS4 has gone in for it's usual service and now the engine is out on a workbench... Basically the top end looks unhappy (worn cams , bent valves) and also the turbos need replacing. The bottom end is an unknown. Rather than waste any more time and money (as part pricing is already hitting b...

Re: C5 RS6 OEM RIMS

New about £600 per rim, but second hand probably £800 for a set. Someone had a good set of plus wheels for sale a few weeks back for £700. Edit: I assume you are staking about 19"? 18s are a little harder to get hold of for some reason. Thanks, to be honest I'm not sure what the standard set were o...

C5 RS6 OEM RIMS

hiya, I'm looking at a few C5 RS6's that don't have their OEM rims. Does anyone know how much these would cost to find? I'm asking for pricing at this end (NZ) but with most things, it'll probably be a heap cheaper to source from the UK and send back. (and someone may have a good set lying around) C...

B5 RS4 Front badge

Hiya, my wife just noticed the '4' on her RS4 front badge has come off. Does anyone know of the best place to get a new badge (that ships internationally - NZ) Had a look on Ebay but not sure what the going rate for this thing should be http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Audi-A4-B5-S4-RS4-Grill-Badge-Euro-...

RS4 B8 known issues?

hiya, I've got a mate who's looking at getting a RS4 B8 and this on has made the short list http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/audi/rs4/auction-616603852.htm One of the issues with this car is that it's a UK import and with the Audi international warranty, any claim needs to be paid by the cu...
